Does your favourite pair of Snag tights have a hole, snag or ladder but you can't bear to let them go? Check out this short video tutorial about how to use embroidery to fix them and give them a new lease on life!

This is a really useful, 5 step technique to use for a pair that you love but are no longer available to order again! Limited Edition Snag tights that you can't replace can be rescued using an embroidery hoop, a needle, some simple embroidery thread and 15 minutes of your time! 👏

Step 1: Stretch your damaged tights across an embroidery hoop so that the hole is easily accessible. Choose an embroidery thread colour that closely resembles the colour of your tights. We have used a bright colour so that you can see it easily!

Step 2: Working from the inside of the material so that the stitches are less visible from the outside, start at the bottom of the hole and, right to left, create a double knot.

Step 3: Pull taut, and start by sewing inside to outside from the right and then outside to inside on the left.

Step 4: Move back over to the right and up slightly, and repeat this process as you work your way up the hole. Repeat until you reach the top.

Step 5: Add a couple of extra stitches above the repair once you reach the end of the hole and finish with a double knot before snipping the tail off.
