One of the questions for the LGV Driver CPC Module 4 examination could be selecting and using appropriate restraining device for a specific load. There are a total of 4 devices that could be used, including ratchets / webbing, chains, load tensioning and roping. The examiner will tell you what load they want you “secure”. This is a simulation and you will not actually be given a load. Once the examiner tells you the load you select the correct load restrain and demonstrate on a trolley (with anchor points) how you would use it.
