Should Firestorm Be a Free to Play Standalone? - BF5 Battle Royale - Battlefield V Game Discussions

So we all know that the Battlefield Battle Royale mode called Firestorm is coming with the live service of Battlefield 5. However to compete with other popular Battle Royale titles that are currently dominating the market, should DICE and EA consider making BF5 Battle Royale a standalone free to play title as it is a considerably different game and experience than the core Battlefield experience and if they want to popularize the game mode in the Battle Royale genre, some people might not be ready to dish out 60 to 80 dollars to get access to that singular game mode.
