Trusty's Vintage Deep Dive - Cigarette Cards with Joni from Vintagerous

Trading Cards may have taken on a VERY different nature and appearance in more contemporary times, but the concept has been around for over 100 years. Explore Cigarette Cards (and other similarly designed cards) which were included in packs of cigarettes in the early 20th century the same way kids would have to buy packs of gum to acquire their baseball cards, etc. in the later 20th century. Each company offered cards of different themes - always in a series, encouraging smokers to continue buying the same brand in order to complete the set. And the themes may surprise you - porcelain, flowers, hollywood actors, war equipment, and more.
