On this day, 05/15/24, DAILY TAPS at the National WWI Memorial in Washington, D.C. honors WWI Veteran Pvt. Oscar E. Wilson Company C, 167th Infantry. Died in France July 26, 1918 and is the namesake for Crestview, FL American Legion post 75.
