DIY Jute Hanging Lamp Tutorial // Pendant Light

Hey Friends!
Here we're creating an easy but beautiful hanging lamp/pendant lamp out of a BASKET!!
This is me in my element.... I saw these Baskets at Joe Fresh - they happen to be waste baskets!!! And I saw them and immediately, my Creative Brain started going a mile a minute!
I have made side tables and hanging lights with these baskets! They are AWESOME!
I have seen a lot of really cool baskets at Marshalls and Winners. If they have handles, pending on how thick the metal is, you could cut them off with cutters or a sawsall - but you would need to sand the edges and seal them with a clear coat and paint.
But don't let that stop you from utilizing existing pieces and making them better!
That's the philosophy of my life! Making Good Stuff Better!
So get out the jute or cotton twine or paracord and get wrapping!

-metal basket
-hanging lamp/pendant lamp cord kit (plug-in)
-light bulb
-jute rope
-wire/metal cutters
-scissors
