The event, which was due to start next week, will not be postponed to a later date, the show’s organizers said.

13 different manufacturers deciding to sit out this year’s gathering, a list including some big names like: Cadillac, Citroen, Ford, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Subaru, Tata and Volvo. Even with those no-shows, Geneva will be a big event and few expect it to fade away like the Frankfurt. Here are 17 of the best vehicles to be revealed.
