Biological and Biomedical Sciences: Biochemistry, Immunology and Molecular Medicine

Biochemistry & immunology is all around us right now, with the actions of one tiny microbe bringing the world to a halt. The work in our school is contributing to our understanding of the virus (biochemistry), its interaction with our bodies defences (immunology), how we can diagnose and treat it (molecular medicine) and these are the core subjects we degree options we offer within the School. We also offer neuroscience as a degree option which is an ever-evolving discipline dedicated to the study of the function and disorders of the nervous system and the brain.
