Channel 205 UK - Brooklands French car day 2024

In this episode we take a look around the exhibits which participated in the Brooklands Museum French Car day which took place on 11th August 2024.

A large Renault contingency along with some Citroën, Peugeot and niche brands made up the majority. A few cars took to the short test hill climb which is still operational. Sadly the famous banked circuit is no longer accessible and in disrepair and has been dismantled in places for redevelopment.

Do search Brooklands Circuit here on youtube for some of the classic Pathe newsreels of the 1930s onwards when it was in its heyday. Classic film and TV programs have also used the site for filming including shows such as Agatha Christie's Poirot.

The site currently houses a number of interesting passenger aircraft of the jet age including a Concorde. Look out for a channel eXtra in the future featuring some of these.

Sorry for the dubbed music on this video, I hoped to be moving away from it but during the entire day a DJ was set up in the grounds and copyrighted music was picked up on most shots.
