[Shadow Fighting – Throws]

Rehearse all of your throw techniques against an imaginary opponent for the duration of the drill. Note the difference between a takedown and a throw: A throw technique will cause both of your opponent’s feet to leave the ground simultaneously, while a takedown technique typically will not. Include double-leg throws, the fireman’s carry, shoulder throws, trip throws, hip throws, and any other throw techniques with which you’re familiar. Make sure to work both sides of your body and quickly get up after any techniques that take you to the ground to start a new throw technique.
