Tibet Grand Canyon Fly-Through Part 2 - Google Earth

The great Yarlung Tsangpo river enters the deepest and longest canyon in the world between mounts Namcha Barwa and Gyalha Peri. It bends around Namcha Barwa and eventually becomes the Brahmaputra river as it is enters India. The Yarlung Tsangpo passes through the Pemako region that has long been sacred in Buddhist history.

This tour in Google Earth flies through and over the gorge and the region. This is part 2 of the journey through the Lower Gorge - from the point where the Po Tsangpo tributary joins the Yarlung Tsangpo.
