Discover how Conor Spark spent his placement year working for BAE Systems, a multinational military defence company, as part of his BSc Computer Science course at the University of Essex.

Working through three placements in the year, Conor took part in projects like maintaining the aircraft parts database, internal web application development and working on the programming behind future combat aircraft systems and prototypes. The experience has given Conor valuable skills to help complete his final year project for BSc Computer Science, plus he has been awarded a place on the BAE graduate scheme!
