Way of the Water, is a rhapsody for wind band, written to Slagelse Garden in 2013 and revised in 2022.The title refers to the vikings use of the oceans to get to remote and foreign areas of the world.

Way of the Water, is based on the following sections:
-Set the sails for departure
-Jolly vikings
-Heavy storm
-What lies behind the
-Thinking about the loved ones
-The battlefield
-Remembrance of the fallen
-The journey home
