Since this level's release, I've always wanted to beat it at some point, but I usually never have the courage to go for levels as long as this, as it's a different kind of mental challenge that intimidates me. I did put in some practice a long time ago on mobile, but put it to the side, as I felt like I wasn't ready to go for it. Fast forward to earlier this month, I decided to give it another shot, as it came into my mind again, and after a stupid 94% death (which is arguably one of the biggest throws I've ever had in my GD career to be honest), I finally beat it. It feels great to have this done, and it gives me a glimmer of hope I can possibly do another Travel level in the near future (Hypnotic Travel perhaps, as this level is the prequel to that 10 minute gauntlet, who knows).
Now, let's talk about the level itself. It's not too hard difficulty-wise across each individual part, but its length makes it a huge endurance and stress test, which makes it the difficulty it is. There is some imbalance in difficulty, which is to be expected with a level of this length, but it wasn't that hard where I found parts to be major chokepoints. I hear a lot about how 37-51% is considered one of the hardest parts of the level, and while I did struggle with it back in the past, I never really died there much since I came back to the level, which shows how much I've improved since then. I personally found 83-93% to be the section I would have the most trouble with when practicing, but even then, I got a lot of practice with it and I was able to gain consistency, which helped a lot when playing from 0. Some issues I had with some of the gameplay were the robot at 9% being kinda jank and weird to play, along with a weird bug at 56%. I would land on a certain part of a block and I would lose all ability to jump, which I would guess comes from hitting the top of a slope of sorts. 2.2 changed the physics of what happens when a block and slope are overlayed with one another, so I'm guessing that's a 2.2 bug and was never an issue back in 2.1, but it's worth mentioning, as it exists in the level. Besides those things, I think this level played just fine, and I'm happy to have finally done it. I would recommend this if you're above the Medium Demon skill range for this level; aka I would not recommend doing this as a hardest.
It's probably worth mentioning this as well: The coin in this level is free at the end. Not much worth talking about, but since it has a coin, I figure I'd mention it, along with putting "Coin" in the title of the video, as it's tradition at this point.
