Eligibility Criteria
1. **Educational Qualification**: A Bachelor's Degree (Honors/Pass) or equivalent from a recognized University with Urdu as a main subject.
2. **Professional Qualification**: Degree/Diploma in Training Education.
3. **CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test)**: Qualifying the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE.

Exam Pattern
1. **Tier I Examination**:
- **General Awareness**: 20 Marks
- **General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability**: 20 Marks
- **Arithmetical & Numerical Ability**: 20 Marks
- **Hindi Language & Comprehension**: 20 Marks
- **English Language & Comprehension**: 20 Marks
- **Subject Concerned (Urdu)**: 100 Marks
- **Total**: 200 Marks
- **Duration**: 2 Hours

2. **Tier II Examination
- Paper specific to the subject concerned (Urdu).
- Usually, the Tier II exam is not required for TGT posts, but candidates should check the specific notification for updates.

Syllabus
1. **General Awareness**: Current Events, History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations/Institutions, etc.
2. **General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability**: Analogies, Similarities and Differences, Space Visualization, Spatial Orientation, Problem Solving, Analysis, Judgment, Decision Making, Visual Memory, Discrimination, Observation, Relationship Concepts, Arithmetical Reasoning, Verbal and Figure Classification, Arithmetical Number Series, Non-Verbal Series, etc.
3. **Arithmetical & Numerical Ability**: Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals, Fractions, Relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical Operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
4. **Hindi Language & Comprehension**: Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, and its correct usage, etc.
5. **English Language & Comprehension**: Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, and its correct usage, etc.
6. **Subject Concerned (Urdu)**: Questions will be from the core subject (Urdu) at the graduate level, including language comprehension, literature, grammar, teaching methods, etc.
