I will describe our development of new 2D and 3D models for the ionized gas in HII regions, Star-forming and AGN galaxies. New developments include self-consistent treatment of elemental abundances and dust depletion, Stromlo Stellar Tracks, and 3D Monte Carlo radiative transfer to allow for arbitrary nebular gas geometries. These new models are now being used to help analyse the chemical abundances in HII regions, star forming galaxies, and AGN, nearby and at high redshift. I will present a sneak preview of this latest work.
