Exploring Baguio: Aspiras–Palispis Highway Journey

Описание к видео Exploring Baguio: Aspiras–Palispis Highway Journey

There are three major access routes to Baguio City. The Aspiras–Palispis Highway, formerly Marcos Highway, still being used today, is the most prominently used route and is featured in this video. The highway runs from Baguio city starting at the rotunda below the flyover near the Baguio General Hospital (BGH) up to the Eagle of the North park in the municipality of Agoo, La Union. It is called Ben Palispis Highway in the Baguio-Benguet area, named after the former governor of Benguet. The La Union area is Jose D. Aspiras Highway. This channel focuses on Baguio City road networks so this video presentation centers along Baguio City and its neighbor, Tuba, Benguet. Nevertheless, a portion has been alloted to Agoo, Tubao and Pugo in the province of La Union.

Times and places are constantly changing. Taking videos of the route for the purpose of this presentation was not done in one day so there are scenes that may have changed. Such changes are cited where they occur. From 8:13 onwards, scenes are current as of March, 2024. Demolitions of structure and road widening is still going on.
