Adela's Country Eatery in Kāneʻohe, Oʻahu, Hawaii has been ranked in Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S. for two years in a row:

2023: Ranked #5

The takeout-only restaurant is known for its sustainable, colorful noodles made with ʻulu (breadfruit), sweet potato, kalo (taro), moringa, and avocado. Some say the food is great and they can't wait to come back, while others say they were disappointed relative to the reviews.

Adela's Country Eatery also sells packaged noodles, made-to-order plate lunches, and desserts. Some say the noodles are the best, and others say the taro special is delicious even when substituted with ube noodles.
The restaurant is open 10:30 AM–8 PM, except Wednesday when it's open 10:30 AM–3:30 PM and it's closed on Sunday. You can call ahead to place an order, and they ask for at least 45 minutes to 1 hour since they make everything to order
