Space Marine 2 // 7 Days of Solo - 4. Tactical - Stalker Bolter - Lethal Difficulty, No Downs

Описание к видео Space Marine 2 // 7 Days of Solo - 4. Tactical - Stalker Bolter - Lethal Difficulty, No Downs

Welcome to day 4 of my 7 Days of Solo series - every day this week I'm showcasing a different class on a different mission, all solo, all Lethal.

Today we're bringing out the Tactical - one of my favourite classes and probably the best balance of the Ranged and Melee playstyles that make up the core of the game. A lot of the Bolters remain underappreciated by players even after their buffs (maybe a topic for another video), but the Stalker Bolter is undeniably one of the Tactical's best options for Majoris hunting, crucial for taking on Rubric Marines - in this setup, you'll have practically infinite ammo, which is a godsend in solo. Meanwhile, the Auspex Scan lets you down Extremis+ extremely quickly and even instakill one Extremis every few minutes. A Fencing Chainsword means you're no slouch in melee either whether it's against Minoris packs or a Terminator.

All-in-all, a very powerful package that fits well in any team. And hopefully this run goes to show there's more to the Tactical than just the Bolter GL ;)

Build:

Kraken rounds might seem the natural choice for a Bolter, but as I'm using my Stalker to pick off Majoris, BALANCED DISTRIBUTION is a better pick for boosting my primary damage - the Bolt Pistol still one-headshots the Minoris so no real loss there.

RELENTLESS PURSUIT is a truly underrated perk, and a major source of damage against Majoris+, especially Nids.

EMPEROR'S VENGEANCE combined with RELOADED RESTORATION on the weapon perks means I have practically infinite ammo for the Stalker - each Majoris kill refills my current magazine on the Stalker, then reloading the Stalker refunds half of my shots hit back as yet more ammo, meaning it can be quite easy to start running a surplus.

My Auspex setup has changed a little from my previous videos, since I discovered the durations mentioned in the perks don't refer to how long the damage buffs last on the enemy, but how long the mark can continue applying the debuff. I've switched over to VITAL DATA for a 50% charge refund for scanning Extremis+, great value given their spawn rates on Lethal. While I still prefer the parry auspex for Tyranids, with how much less Chaos Marines engage you in melee, I prefer PRECISE CALIBRATION for a more damaging but smaller Auspex. EXPERT TIMING stays though, for the massive 100% damage buff to Auspex - with these 2 combined, one-phasing the Heldrake becomes very doable in coop. Last but not least, MARKED FOR DEATH lets me take a Majoris or Extremis out immediately every 2 minutes - perfect for deleting Terminators or Sorcerers.

For my team perk, I've gone with TRANSHUMAN PHYSIOLOGY - that extra Contested Health restoration means as long as you have ammo in the mag, you can stand and trade in a lot of exchanges with ranged fire.
