Marge is an American Bulldog that came to us because she had self-control issues. She was heavily distracted and agitated by other dogs, people, and animals she'd see outside the window. She was a big puller on the leash and just seeing other dogs while out on walks led to pulling, lunging, and thrashing. She was very territorial of her yard and her family and would boss around her dog mates and anyone who would dare walk past 'her' yard.

Through daily obedience drills and exercises Marge proficiently learned many commands in which her owner will now be able to use as tools for the rest of her life. Marge was exposed to many dogs during her stay and we repeated practiced keeping her attention on the handler which helped her keep her cool in a stressful situation. All training at Mannered Mutts is geared towards off-leash capabilities. By the end of her training Marge was extremely well off-leash even when she had room to run!

We are very proud of the hard work Marge put in and the results show. Congrats on obtaining a high level of obedience training and here to a happy and most importantly safe long life!!!
