In this step-by-step tutorial, I will show you how to make UML Use Case diagrams using Lucidchart. Use Case Diagrams are a behavioral type of Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagram, showing key system use cases and which users can access those use cases. They also help document the initial scope of work and are very handy during stakeholder interviews.

We will create a Use Case diagram for the restaurant business that requires automation. The use Case diagram has the following key elements: subject, actors, use cases, and four kinds of relationships. We'll explain each of them first and then build our diagram example.
