Baba Charlie sells authentic Baba Nyonya food and Kuih (desserts or cakes). Baba Nyonya are also known as Peranakans with Chinese ancestry. Their culture are dominant mainly in Melaka & Penang, in Malaysia, in Singapore and Medan in Indonesia. They are characterized by their unique culture resulted from interracial marriage between the Malays and Chinese in the early 1400s to 1700s. Thus their food is unique. Here, you can try everything to your heart's content. And if you have sweet-tooth, you will love the variety of Kuih available.

2. Klebang Original Coconut Shake, Score: 7/10
There are many stalls selling Coconut Shakes these days but this is the stall which claims they started the trend. Long queue is a norm, be prepared to have at least a 30-minute wait to get your hands on the cooling and refreshing Coconut Shake.

3. Kuih Keria Melaka, Score: 7.5/10
It's a traditional Malay doughnut-shape Kuih made from sweet potato, deep fried and glazed with sugar.

Good food comes in simple form. A must try for those who visit Melaka and wanting to try Melaka's specialty food.
Be prepared to queue during holiday season.
