🔴 Live from the backyard of our home in Yada, the Valley of Tea, in Shizuoka City, Japan.

It is February 20th, 2026, a chilly Friday. The camera is positioned at the edge of the bamboo forest, looking out through recently cleared bamboo toward the garden, the river, and the deeper grove beyond.

Rudy is nearby in his stroller with a blanket over him, settled in for the cool air. I’ll be working farther off in the distance—clearing shrubs and breaking branches along the river’s edge—moving slowly in and out of view as the day unfolds.

There is no narration and no agenda. What you see and hear is simply the garden and the sound of work, as it happens.

This stream is meant to be sat with, not consumed. You may arrive briefly or stay for a while. Nothing is expected of you.
