again like always this lovely song belongs to halsey who is my #1 role model. i have no rights or anything for this song or any of the songs i've posted

and a quick note behind the background image i chose-this song is abt a new generation and a changing future and how everything is developing in our generation. i thought the flames were fitting for several reasons. they represent the violence and police brutality halsey had mentioned this song was also about, and it also shows the sort of destruction of the old generation. y'know, the destroying of only (cisgender) heterosexual marriage, of illegal marijuana, new ideals and morals being implemented in america. the fire represents the destruction of the old and the pain of many who still suffer today due to injustice, and also the shining future and ignited revolution that has begun with our generation. I like to think of us who decide to say "why not?" instead of just "why?" sorry for all this extra info this song's lyrics just really hit home with me so I'm extra passionate about this.
