Dunno about the cowards bit or that they're shirking responsibility. It all depends on their opinion of Putin and the conflict. Also how existential the conflict is. Is Russia being invaded or is it invading?

Just because a particular politician does a lot of great things for the country doesn't mean you're a coward for disagreeing with a war that he started. Especially if going to fight said war might have you killing people you know or are related to. Which is not outside of the realm of possibility with the Ukraine-Russia conflict.

While I understand your frustration and am somewhat sympathetic to the sentiment. This is exactly the kind of rhetoric and mindset that has America going on military adventures ever since the second world war. It's also exactly the same rhetoric used by Ukrainian nationalists.

The picture in the thumbnail appears to be of WWI Germans (huns) at the door. While I'm largely ignorant of the history there besides the basics...were the Germans of WW1 an existential threat. What if belligerence and the shame of conscientious objection wasn't bred into the European populations. Could we have stood a better chance of averting that conflict or at least m
