At a major event today, Huawei unveiled its newest high-end smartphones and its newest wearable. With an even more durable construction and the ability to withstand 100 meters of water, the Huawei Watch Ultimate stands above the Watch 3 Pro and is suitable for professional divers.

The massive 1.5" LTPO AMOLED circular display on the Watch Ultimate supports refresh rates between 1Hz and 60Hz. The large 530mAh battery is housed inside the bulky shell, and Huawei claims that regular users can go 14 days without recharging while active users can go about 8 days.

The included charger provides a 0–100% charge in 60 minutes and supports Qi wireless charging for the wearable. It also includes the typical sensors for measuring heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and ECGs.

To ensure that the Watch Ultimate can withstand 24-hour 110-meter depth submersion or 10 ATM, Huawei even put the device through the ISO 22810 water resistance standard and EN13319 device equipment standard tests. The body of the Watch Ultimate has 16 water-resistant structures.

Beginning on April 3, there will be two variations of the Huawei Watch Ultimate available in the UK and Europe: Voyage Blue and Expedition Black (both with rubber straps) (with an elegant metallic strap). CNY5,999 ($880/€800/£710) and CNY6,999 ($1,025/€940/£830) are the set prices in China. A later date will be announced for the global pricing.
