Carriers have organized into three big alliances set to rule international shipping.

Maersk split into two divisions with the shipping division looking to acquire competing shipping companies.

Could there possibly be a bigger international shipping story in 2016 than a major carrier suddenly, and not so suddenly really, going bankrupt?
