Silver Smith claims Bon Scott finished lyrics for AC/DC’s Back in Black

Bon Scott’s ex-girlfriend Silver Smith recounts a phone call she got from Scott on 18 February 1980. Scott, the lead singer of AC/DC, died in mysterious circumstances early the next day, 19 February 1980. Back in Black was released in July 1980. Smith died in 2016.

In 2006, Bon's brother Derek Scott told Vince Lovegrove: "On the night he died he’d been writing song lyrics all day." Bon's late mother Isa Scott said: "He was writing words for their Back in Black album when he died."
