This video portrays a woman doing her various routines in her house while using Amazon Alexa to set reminders.

Words appear on the screen: “Leah’s Story”

Upbeat jazzy music plays.

Leah: “My name's Leah, I live in Chicago, I work as an actor and a teacher, mostly teaching kids and teens how to audition for commercials and TV. And I'm queer and have an awesome girlfriend.”

Leah does various activities around her house: sorting her kitchen items, meditating, and taking notes in her journal.

Leah: “I have no routine. Every day is a little different, and I'm getting to do a lot of really cool, different things. And I enjoy all of those. But having ADHD, the really big one for me is the timers because I will actually just forget that I'm doing something.”

She straightens out her cups hanging on display and suddenly pauses.

Leah: “Alexa, Remind me to meditate in 15 minutes.”

She walks to the bookcase and grabs something read.

Leah: “When our routines are so up in the air right now, if I have one thing scheduled in a day, if I had one appointment that is actually harder for me to remember and to get to than if I have a whole day stacked of appointments. So, I'll usually be able to set an alarm just to make sure that I remember I'm where I need to be.”

Leah dances around the house.

Leah: “Without Alexa, I would probably have burned the kitchen down.”
