Troops face filthy, dangerous conditions in barracks | NewsNation Now

Raw sewage, mold, bedbugs, cockroaches. All of these issues can be found in the barracks where United States troops live nationwide. A new report by the U.S. Government Accountability Office details the serious mental and physical health risks that living in these conditions can cause for military members. Steve Benyon, a veteran and reporter at Military.com, says this has been an issue for years. Some soldiers who talked to him had to be admitted to the hospital after breathing in black mold for long periods of time.
