There are some more tools that I use for the build. I will list them completely once I do an inventory of all the tools.

After searching and watching other videos on YouTube, I decided to change the steering mechanism a little bit. Previously, I bent a paper clip from the rotating servo to the hole on the knuckle and hoped it would "push and pull" the steering left and right as the servo is activated and rotated. This did not happen so I had to change by adding a straight piece of paper clip to the servo and having another paper clip that was 90 degrees from the hole on the steering knuckle. This yielded some way better results. Although, it it not perfect, but it will do. The other thing was, by doing this, I had to left the servo up by 0.1" and that made me loose a lot of space inside to pack the battery and the connectors. I may have to do away with the connectors.

I got lucky that I have some heat shrink that was just a tad smaller than the plastic wheels. I had to stretch the heat shrink over the wheels. With the heat shrink on the wheels, it was just like as the wheels were rubber. The grip and steering were perfect. Smooth driving on all surfaces.

The Hot Wheels diecast had a different design due to the shape of the body. I had to grind down the inside areas of the doors to fit the base cover. Even after so, the base cover did not fit will. I had to tape the bottom with clear tape to hold it to the body.

I am still trying to figure out how to connect the rear tail lights to the servo. For some reason, it seems like any channel the rear tail lights are connected to, they do not turn off or on. They are just on all the time. I tried setting the transceiver to a different channel and having it on a different setting so I can have a 0 to 100 output, but that did not work. I may have to move the rotating servo to a different pad on the receiver.
