How to make the Wiffle Cube: Woodworking project

Описание к видео How to make the Wiffle Cube: Woodworking project

Welcome to Wood 'n' Stuff with Steve French!

This cool project will have many people wondering how the heck you made it. The others will just be wishing you'd make one for them. Meet: the 'Wiffle Cube", a hollow 14-sided object with 6 square and 8 triangular shaped faces and sporting 6 circular and 8 triangular shaped openings.

Geometrically speaking, this 14-sided solid (ignoring the holes) is a type of Tetradecahedron; a cuboctahedron, to be exact. The "Wiffle Cube" is based on a project in an old American Woodworker magazine. I simplified the build process to make it less tedious and more conducive to production of multiple units at once. Enjoy!
