Quake 2 for the N64 is an interesting beast.
The simple version, controls are not as fluid as a speedrunner playing the PC version.
The long version:
Framerate is rarely 60fps (quiet areas), nearly all of the levels are exclusive to the N64 version,
the maps are not connected to each other (treated as individual levels like many games),
you cannot throw grenades but you can use a grenade launcher,
The secret items are treated as powerups meaning they are active the moment you pick them up.
