Yamaha Waverunner motor mount replacement - Fx Cruiser Ho - 4stroke - Rhaas Products

Hello, here is my installation of motor mounts in a 2006 FX cruiser HO, using Rhaas performance mounts.

I chose Rhaas due to the extremely well made product they have. They are injection molded with urethane locking the threaded part and base into one piece. They are not glued like the oem parts. They are made to the highest quality and standards. And made in the US! These were actually lesser expensive than oem aswell.

I am not claiming to be a Jetski mechanic nor am I taking anything away from those who are. But I wanted to create a clip to help diyers and mechanically inclined individuals who were seeking to do this repair themselves. You save hundreds. The parts cost $200,$50 a mount. For the few hours it took, I’m sure a shop would get $500-800 for a task like this. I always try to do as much as I can myself and tend to seek guidance from YouTube and fourms. I found a couple things on greenhulk but not much. So here we are.

The tools you need are pretty minimal really, it’s not a terribly hard job, just getting to them is the hard part, never anyroom to work on a ski!! If you don’t have an engine hoist I’d think a come along and a garage roof rafter would work, the engine weights around 200 lbs. besides that all you really need it a ratchet, 12mm, channel lock/pliers.

Don’t forget to check out Wamiltons customs inc. shaft alignment video.
Put the same number of shins that came out and it should line up perfect.

Hope this helps for my fellow riders! Enjoy!
