AM5 Motherboard on a Budget! ASUS TUF Gaming A620M-PLUS WIFI Unboxing & Overview

UPDATE AS OF AUGUST 2024: This video was published before 48GB DDR5 memory modules were available - according to the ASUS specs page, this motherboard now supports up to 192GB of RAM with 4x 48GB DDR5 memory modules. In addition, "Zen 5" Ryzen 9000 series processors and "Zen 4" Ryzen 8000 APUs are now supported with a BIOS update that is available for download from ASUS's official website.

Since its launch, the AMD AM5 platform has lacked motherboard offerings at entry-level prices - all that is set to change with the launch of AMD's latest AM5 chipset offering - the A620. Bringing up the rear in AMD's chipset product stack, the A620 is compatible (for the most part - more on this in the video) with the latest Ryzen 7000 series of processors and serves up support for overclocked DDR5 memory, as well as PCIe 4.0 connectivity for a graphics card and M.2 drives.
