A deep dive lesson into one of my all time favourite acoustic instrumental pieces to play. A modern Transatlantic folk classic, written by Pennsylvanian bluegrass/folk guitarist Russ Barenberg and performed in Drop D tuning.
We learn the main theme, which features some hybrid picking and plenty of ornamentation via hammer-ons, pull-offs and slides, and we also learn his solo from the live version featured on the incredible British TV show "The Transatlantic Sessions", in which he was a constant member of the house band.
