The 2017 Mazda3 is a facelift over the 2016 with a bunch of small changes. Those small changes do not seem like much as individual items but when you piece them all together it is quite and improvement over the 2016 model. My GS tester is the mid-trim model, the best selling version with the six-speed automatic transmission. At just over $24,000 with all the fees its the goldilocks of cars as it hits pretty much all the boxes "just right".
