Glass Hearts | Fused Glass Cut Strips Scrap Glass

Today I’m making glass hearts using small pieces of sheet glass. The glass I’m using is Bullseye Glass in Petal Pink, Red, and a little left over white streaky with pink, and pink confetti glass.

Anytime I have a strip of glass that is at least 1/2” wide, I’ll set it aside for making this type of heart.

In the example I’m showing here, you’ll see that I’m cutting the glass square 5/8” wide x 5/8” wide and 5/8” wide by 1.25” long for the rectangles. Each heart has two squares and two rectangles.

Set your first layer of glass as shown here in an “L” shape, and then alternate the next layer of glass so that the square glass is on top of the rectangle, and the rectangle glass is on top of the seam.
