All About Portraits | A Complete Painting Lesson

Welcome to the first part of this complete airbrush painting tutorial. This time we are working on a slightly more advanced portrait of an older man using acrylic paint (createx illustration colors) and an airbrush (Iwata micron). We will focus on painting skin textures and light & shadows, all while using a limited palette. I'll show you how I mix skin tones for all ethnicities and adjust them according to each subject.
There is a lot of information in this video and I go over it pretty quickly. If you are going to try to paint this one along with me, best of luck! It's a bit of a challenge but great practice. The next (and final) part of this lesson will be out next week on this channel. Thanks for watching.
