The Design History Of Tron Bonne In A Single Cutscene

Описание к видео The Design History Of Tron Bonne In A Single Cutscene

This video shows an example of how Tron Bonne would look like if the developers sticked to a different design in the final game. (based on artwork from Rockman Dash Adventure Guide.) Why Tron? i dunno she just had the most interesting changes in her design. also i added a little bonus of Feldynaught model based on early screenshots of the game.

Here is some answers to some questions.

Q: How?
A: Easy and Simple. First i ripped the models from the game by using DashGL Model\Animation Viewer made by Kion (Link below) and then edited them. some only needed minimal tweaking and texture editing. some had to be
almost fully remodeled. but it wasn't too hard in general. i made most of the models in around a day. then i ripped the Downtown model by using the N64 version of the game with an N64 emulator and Nemu64 plugin. after that i started to remaking the cutscene from scratch in Cinema 4D with the original cutscene as reference. DashGL Animation Viewer also helped a lot since i could take a closer look to individual animations in detail. a couple days later and everything was ready. i would've made it faster if i wasn't so lazy.

Q: Can i have the models?
A: sure thing. here they are https://yadi.sk/d/BaKODy9J3YLeAt sorry but there are only the C4D files. usually i include a more accessible format like FBX but i'm too sleepy to convert them right now.

Q: Will there be more videos of a simmilar kind?
A: Maybe, but can't promise anything because i'm really lazy.

This is my first video, like, ever. so idk smash that like button and subscribe if ya want or whatever people say in youtube.

Check out Kion's Twitter and his awesome site! soon he'll finish his MML2 model viewer and i'm really exited for it!
