Photographing Dirt Roads with the Rolleiflex 2.8e

Описание к видео Photographing Dirt Roads with the Rolleiflex 2.8e

My new-to-me Rolleiflex 2.8e is quickly becoming my favourite TLR camera! When it comes to shooting 6x6 on medium format film, I still love my Yashica-Mat 124g, but the Rollei is hands-down on a different level, and when paired with a roll of Kentmere 400 in 120, it's the perfect match!

I've been feeling a little cooped up lately, but now that the snow has melted and spring has begun, I thought it was a great time to get outside, stretch my legs, and take a walk on some dirt roads to do some black and white photography. This was my first time shooting Kentmere in 120, and I really love the results I got from this film!

Documenting these spaces is something I've been working on for a while, and I hope to get out more often to add to this body of work. Around here, dirt roads are unfortunately becoming a thing of the past. Often throughout history, it's little changes like these that tend to go unnoticed until all that is left to remember them are the photos. This video is meant to take you along on one of my excursions as I do my part to create a record of these roads on film.

I hope you enjoyed today's video, and as always you can get a closer look at some of my favourite images on my Instagram page @jesshobbsphoto! Thanks for watching, and I'll see you next time!
