Refresh Vintage Schwinn Bike Flower Planter

As a relatively novice gardener, my first instinct was to create a focal point in the front garden repurposing an old Schwinn bike as a flower planter.

The vintage bike flower planter looked great for 6 out of the 7 years until rust and neglect took over the front yard. With a little elbow grease, new paint, and a restored flower crate, my vintage bike planter looks fresh again just in time for spring.
