Bollywood mourns demise of veteran actor Shriram Lagoo

Legendary actor Dr Shreeram Lagoo passes away at a private hospital in Pune on Tuesday evening. He was 92-year-old and was suffering from prolonged illness. Shriram Lagoo was best-known for his performances in Hindi as well as Marathi cinema and theatre. Bollywood celebrities like Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Ashoke Pandit, Madhur Bhandarkar along with politicians like union minister Prakash Javadekar, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and others took to their respective social media accounts to mourn the demise of the veteran actor. His last rites will be held on Thursday. In terms of Hindi cinema, Shriram Lagoo was best-known for his performances in films like 'Ek Din Achanak', 'Gharonda', 'Lawaris' among others. Shriram Lagoo is survived by his wife Deepa Lagoo.
