Characters from the original Version 1.0 of Final Fantasy XIV who played the story until the end got the legacy status in the new version of 2.0 of the game called A Realm Reborn. They were rescued in the battle of Carthenaux by Loiseaux who send them 5 years into the future. Because of that they have some altered and some adtitional cutscenes during the story of A Realm Reborn compared to the charakters that were created in the new game.
