This is all the finer points of the rifle, questions I had, things I learned.

if you are interested in buying a rifle from Shiloh I highly recommend buying it through Bill Goodman http://www.shiloh-ballard.com/.
he charges a fee and gives you a prepaid for spot in line. save years in the wait time.

Brass is Norma 45 basic sized and cut to actual chamber length.
Bullet mould is can be found here https://www.buffaloarms.com/446-diame...
Patching paper can be found here https://www.draftingsuppliesdew.com/s...

Patching paper notes. Most recommend 9# onion skin paper. well that's hard to find. The Seth Cole 55W is 8# and is just under .002" I've never used it so i don't have a dimension. The Seth Cole 55Y is 7# and measures .0012" and yes I used a Mitutoyo 50 millionths micrometer. On a .446" bullet this calculates to be .4508" but due to wet patching, stretching of the paper and shrinkage upon drying the bullets measure .4495"-.4498" which is perfect. Patching to bore is the best solution for a long range load in a 45-110 powder compression is minimal as you can seat the bullet anywhere you like since you are not worried about the lands preventing you from seating long.
