Listening to Scottish Travellers

This is a film study of the Scottish Travellers cultural relationship to place and their way of being, which is part of our wider work to understand and appreciate the diversity of vernacular cultural heritage in Scotland in order to improve our lives and work today.

This film was made for an exhibition 'In Search of the Pluriverse' 23.4.2022- 7.8.2022 at Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam, curated by Sophie Krier and Eric Wong of The Travelling Academy.

The film includes archival audio recording and photographs from a range of sources, which are credited in the film, principally the School of Scottish Studies at Edinburgh University and Am Baile at the Highland Folk Museum.
