Dyno Cams CM grind
Bilit rod (+.020)
.010 head gasket
Knock off mikuni carb (jetted with wide band AFR)
Home made stainless exhaust
Bilit flywheel
22lbs valve springs.

10 minutes after this video stopped, the motor threw the rod bearings, ruining the rod and crank. This was the engines second time on the lake since the build. The engine was unbelievable until it wasn’t. Fro, me to you, either get the 420 or the 224. Ax and leave them alone. No matter how much time and money you spend, these engines may last with that power on a go cart, but they WILL NOT hold 6k rpm down the lake for long. Just my opinion from my experience. Now I have $500 worth of hemi predator in a box with a 224 max on the boat now. May not be as fast, but a lot more reliable, not as loud, and much easier to crank. After $500 I gained 6-8 mph and it was sketchy at that speed. IMO it’s not worth it. Leave them stock and enjoy
