"It's A Bit Windy!" - STORM EUNICE Slams Porthcawl Seafront At High Tide

Storm Eunice hits Porthcawl Friday morning but nothing stops the old gits from having their morning coffee on Porthcawl seafront, not even a storm ‘Red Warning’ for extreme weather.

The storm waves start hitting Porthcawl pier early in the morning shortly before high tide just after 7am. For some scale, the lighthouse at the end of the pier is about 30 feet tall.

Mumbles, across Swansea Bay from Porthcawl, recorded a gust of 87mph and a lorry on the M4 motorway near Porthcawl was blown over.
