We recommend:

Implementation of a strong password policy**: Use complex passwords and change them regularly. Avoid using the same password for multiple services.

Regular updating of software and systems**: Ensure all your systems and software are up to date. This includes operating systems, antivirus programs, and all applications you use.

Team training**: Ensure all employees are trained and aware of the risks associated with processing personal data. This should include training on detecting phishing attempts and safe use of emails and internet.

Creation and adherence to a data protection policy**: Create a clear and transparent data protection policy and ensure it is adhered to by all employees. The policy should detail how personal data is collected, stored, used, and deleted.

Encryption of sensitive data**: Ensure all sensitive data is encrypted. This applies to data stored on your systems as well as data transmitted over the internet.

Regular security checks and audits**: Conduct regular checks of your security systems and processes to identify and fix vulnerabilities.

Data protection by design**: Consider data protection in the development phase of new products or services. This can help avoid potential data protection issues before they even occur.
