‘TAMIL CHRISTIAN GOLDEN HITS’ is a series of old Tamil Gospel Songs which were composed 40 - 60 years ago, by great men and women of God. Many of these songs are their real-life testimonies that ministered to millions of Tamils and are continuing to do so even with millennials.

I have gone back to their original versions to learn the authenticity of the tunes which have gradually changed over the years. Twisted and tweaked by the playback singers, in the name of improvisation, who want to prove their skill, having no clue of the Christian ethos and the purpose of gospel music. I have recorded the simplest versions of these songs so that church can sing it with ease.

I have made few modifications in the lyrics of a few songs, though, for two reasons. One - To do away with poetic or archaic words which are difficult to understand; and Two - words that mar the tune or tunes that damage the words causing mispronunciation which fails the common listener.

நித்திய மகிழ்ச்சி தலைமேல் இருக்கும்
துயரமும் தவிப்பும் ஓடிடும்
